It would be awesome if there were a way to exactly specify where the directory is so that the program can be forced to point to the right directory. Now it is pointing to the correct directory on the X: drive. I finally solved this by renaming the folder in "F:\My Documents" to "oldXfer", then reinstalled the program. To sum up, Serum points to my old location "F:\My Documents\Xfer\Serum Presets" rather than my new location which is "X:\My Documents\Xfer\Serum Presets". When I clicked "OK", it opened up a directory that is the old location for my Windows "docs" directory (I always have my docs directory somewhere other than my C drive). Then I got an error related to the Skins folder missing. I went to the splice app, went to the plugins tab, saw there was an update, and updated. I tried to open the program from my DAW which then hung. Just a quick post here, also a splice renter/user with issues related to the location of the Xfer folder.
